Disability IS an issue in this ACT election and we are delighted to be joining with the Inner South Community Council to spotlight municipal issues for people with disability as we kick off the election. We’re thrilled to bringing together residents, experts and advocates to discuss neighbourhood planning, transport, and infrastructure challenges and solutions for a more inclusive and accessible Canberra.
🎙️ Featured Speakers:
Barbara Bennett, PSM, former Commissioner for the Disability Royal Commission
Graham Downie, award-winning journalist and public transport advocate
David Goodbody, expert in disability employment and education
Craig Wallace, disability activist, commentator and Advocacy for Inclusion’s Head of Policy
The forum will also mark the launch of a shared disability organisation election platform, focusing on access, transport, climate, and urban issues. Your participation will help shape the ISCCC’s advocacy efforts and ensure our community’s voice is heard.
